Her name is Alexa Ellese Vega. She is 16 years old. She was born in California on August 27 ,1988. She likes watching TV.She started acting in a TV series when she was four .She's got 3 sisters .


His name is Daryl Christopher Sabara. He is 12 years old. He was born  in California on June 14, 1992. He likes ballet and doing gymnastics. He started acting on TV when he was a BABY!!
Daryl has a twin .

Who invented baseball?

Some people believe that Abner Doubleday invented the baseball.

Baseball  was invented in America, in 1845.

In baseball, a field player just touches the ball to the base or the running player to get the player out.

Baseball players wear baseball gloves, the catcher wears a metal mask, a chest protector, and shin guards.
Batters wear plastic helmets to protect their heads. Baseball is called the national pastime of the United states. The sport is very popular in Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Japan...

British dogs by David

                                                                  SHEEP DOG

Sheep dogs were first used to herd sheep. They are big and have a long fur! They are very good companions.

                                                          GOLDEN RETRIEVER

These dogs are very friendly,  intelligent and patient. They are good police dogs and guide dogs.

                                                              IRISH SETTERS

The irish setters are from Ireland. Setters are very active. They love runing  their fur is red and sometimes they are called red setters.

                                                       CORGIS

Corgis are from Wales. They are small and intelligent. Years ago they were used to help take cattle to markets. Now they are normally kept as companions. The British Queen Ellisabeth II has five Corgis.

                                                    BULLDOGS

Bulldogs are a symbol of Great  Britain. They have funny faces! But they are friendly and they love children. They prefer to be indoors. If you have a bulldog you need earplugs and the dog needs a bib: bulldogs snore and drool a lot.

William Morgan invented the "Mintonette" on February 9, 1895. Later Alfred S. Halstead renamed the game Volleyball as the point of the game is to"Volley" the ball. 
He was born on  January  23, 1870 in Lockport, New York, USA.
He graduated in High school at Northfield Mount Hermon school.His friend was James Naismith the inventor of the Basketball.
He  graduated from Springfield College.He died on  December 27, 1942.

The game brought a richer life to millions of people thoughout the world

It is a  vehicle that has 2 wheels and is moved by foot pedals.

Kirck Macmillan was the person who invented the bicycle but he did not patent it, therefore somebody else was credited for inventing the bicycle.                                                                           He was born  on September 2, 1812 in Keir, Scotland United Kindgdom. The name of her wife is Elsie Goldie and he had six children.                                                                                                           He did a variety of jobs.

He died  on 26 of January,1878.











Today lots of people ride a bicycle. It is a cheap means of transport .

John Logie Baird invented the televison, in 1924. He was the first person who televised human faces.
He was born on August 14, 1888 in Helensburgh, Scotland, and he died on June 14, 1946 ( aged 57) in Sussex, England. He was Scottish.
He was a scientist, an engineer and an inventor. He had a  a wife Margaret, Diana daughter and Malcom son.

The first TV scan, transmited and reproduced an imaged had a electronic camera and a display tube.
John hated school. When he was 12 he made his own telephone. 
John received a diploma course in a electrical engineering at the Glasgow and West of Scotland Technical College.
 Thanks to him, nowadays we get to enjoy watching TV.

DIED: November 28, 1939 at the age of 78 in Kansas.

NATIONALITY: Canadian.

OCCUPATION:PE Professor and coach

FAMILY: 2 wives and 5 children.


Basketball is a sport played by two teams of five players on a rectangular court. The idea is to shoot one ball trough a hoop to a backboard at each end.Basketball was originaly played with a soccer ball. The first balls made specifically for basketball were brown. In the late 1950s Tony Hinkle introduced the orange ball.In early December 1891  James Naismith ,a physical professor invented the basketball .He was born in Canada and he attended  McGill in Montreal. James was the oldest child of Margaret  and Naismith, two Scottish immigrants.James married Maude Evelyn in Springfield, USA. They have 5 children. James moved on to work at the YMCA school. After chaining the peach baskets for open hoop nets, James Naismith soon wrote thirteen official rules of the game. Naismith suffered a major brain hemorrhage on November 19th the same year and died nine days later in his home.
